Ready, set, registration!
It is registration time again at Front Range Community College. Priority registration for both Summer and Fall 2022 course offerings opened April 4th for students with 30 or more credits. On Monday, April 11th registration was opened to all students.
Both new and returning students can register online through their eWolf account or through the registration office at any of the FRCC branches.
Scheduling an appointment with an FRCC Pathways Advisor is often the first step to registration, regardless of one’s student status.
“Work with your advisor when it comes to choosing your classes because the knowledge they have about the individual programs can help guide your selection,” said Nick Heckert, an FRCC Pathways Advisor at the Larimer Campus.
Because different degree programs have different course requirements, an advisor can help students build a schedule that keeps them on track for graduation.
Fall may be months away but Heckert says now is the time to start making decisions.
“My number one piece of advice to students is to register early,” Heckert advised. “Classes tend to fill up fast, some more than others, so the earlier you register, the better choice of classes you’ll have. Early registration equals a better fit in your schedule.”
This year the school is offering prizes to students for early registration.
“We’re trying to encourage students to register before they leave for summer,” explained Heckert.
When students register before May 6th, the school will enter them into a drawing for prizes including Apple AirPods™, an Apple iPad™, an HP Chromebook™, two $500 scholarships, and two $100 bookstore gift certificates.
The drawing will occur on May 9th and winners will be notified through their student email.
