Students will be required to show proof of vaccination or submit to weekly testing come spring of 2022 for in-person classes at Front Range Community College.
In a press conference with the staff of the FRCC Reporter, FRCC Larimer Vice President of, Jean Runyon said the school is looking into automating and simplifying verification of vaccination status.
She said the goal is to keep it as simple as a few clicks, and only require students to do this one time using a program called Qualtrics.
The leadership of FRCC is having ongoing dialogue of what school will look like. The discussion will revolve around vaccination status, weekly testing provided through the school, and more.
Runyon said she understands students are tired of wearing masks, and so is she, but said the college is making its way back to normal.
She said FRCC is working closely with the Colorado Department of Higher Education and the Larimer Health Department to ensure that COVID-19 is controlled with procedures the school is using, to include masking.
